Rogue One an SJW story

I'm a girl, so I'm automatically good at everything and like super brave, unlike those icky boys.  So the writers of the new Star Wars movie would like us to know that they few the Star Wars universe as the rebel alliance being a multi-cultural society, led by brave women, fighting a white supremacist empire. Look at me, I walk like a guy, but I'm more badass cause I don't have a penis. Great, popular entertainment is now a women/genders studies course, sounds like fun doesn't it? What would be social engineers in Hollywood don't realize is biological reality is hard to overcome. Some women today might like to see portrayals of how they too can join in the adventurous fun, but not at the expense of denigrating men (okay in this instance it's just white men) most women want a man to be a man when it comes right down to it, not a apologizing simply for existing beta male. I'm a man, but it's okay, I'm not white, so you can still r...

The Ghost of Christmas Future

Winter Festival is always such a magical time of year. I for one, always embrace it. Of course there was for a time some debate whether or not it should be called Winter Festival. Since not everyone in Canada originally come from places where there is winter, and so might find it exclusionary. At one point a group suggested calling it Festivus, which was gaining in popularity until it was discovered the name Festivus was actually a 'joke' name from an old TV show. Well the young men responsible will be spending a long time in reeducation as a result of their hate crime, hope the 'joke' was worth it boys. Reeducation isn't always that bad, some even enter it voluntarily, but for hate crimes it usually involves a long stay and oftentimes severe techniques to achieve the desired results with subjects. I wasn't at first in favour of the reeducation system (I know, check your privilege) but now I do see how necessary it is to achieve a safe and free society. A...

What is the Alt.Right?

What is the Alt. Right, is a popular question right now, presumably because the so-called Alt.Right is seen as having an effect on the recent U.S presidential election and to a lesser extent the rise of nationalist parties in Europe. Commentators like Milo Yiannopoulos have tried to paint the Alt.Right as simply right leaning citizens who distrust mainstream politics, and established political parties (including the GOP) which to a certain extent that's true. Unfortunately, however, it is not the whole truth. On the left many would describe Ben Shapiro and Yianopoulos both as prime examples of the Alt.Right, going so far as to smear them as white supremacists. Shapiro and Yiannopolous don't agree on much, but I'm sure neither would you accuse the other of harbouring views of white supremacy. Although Shapiro does recognize the white nationalist/supremacy element in the Alt. Right that Yiannopoulos tries to downplay or ignore as to insignificant to matter. Perhaps i...

Trudeau Jr. a.k.a Little Potato, a.k.a PM Selfie demonstrates his stupidity on the world stage

Poor Justin Trudeau, right now he's probably wondering why suddenly he's facing criticism? After all that's not supposed to be part of the media script. He's supposed to say stuff, like, important stuff, and then they're supposed to express how wonderful he is, coo about his cool yoga poses and his great hair. Not laugh at him. But this past week that's exactly what the world is doing, having a good laugh at Justin's lavish praise for his Uncle Fidel who recently passed away. The rest of the world knew him as the murderous dictator of Cuba, Fidel Castro. The man who imprisoned gays for the crime of being gay (but don't worry Justin, you'll still be invited to all the pride marches this summer) Castro also summarily executed thousands of dissidents and thousands more after mock trials. Many found themselves imprisoned indefinitely for not showing enough love to this "much loved leader." Even the newspaper of record for the far left, T...

The horribleness of dating people with different opinions

One of Canada's national newspapers, the left leaning Globe & Mail ( the other being the left leaning National Post) ran a column last weekend by the horribly oppressed Tina Petrick. Petrick describes herself as a single woman nearing thirty (women are, as much as they try to deny it, consciously aware of their sell by date) trying to navigate the minefield of dating that is Calgary. For non-Canadian readers, Calgary is Canada's Dallas, the capital of the country's oil and gas industry. A once very prosperous city, it attracted people like Petrick looking for the new opportunities that a robust economy provides. Unfortunately so many of Petrick's type have moved to Calgary and the province of Alberta that a year and half a go they voted in a socialist government and the economy has tanked. That hasn't caused every capitalist in the city and province to flee, there's still a lot of money in Alberta that the government hasn't taxed away yet, and Petrick ...

Fake News Sites

There has of late been great media consternation about the proliferation of fake news sites that mislead voters and generally misinform. There is a growing movement within the MSM, college campuses and even at the White House to have these types of news sites banned. Well, as a free speech absolutist I'm not in favour of restricting anyone's right to publish misleading and even downright false information (as long as it's not slandering an individual). However, as a public service, since there is so much concern over 'news' sites like these, I've compiled a list of some of the most egregious fake news sites online. They range from sites that bend stories to fit a certain narrative to others who create elaborate fake stories, or feature opinion writers writing columns that many of today's university students would consider hate speech (such as the Guardian's Julie Bindel advocating putting all men in concentration camps). At any rate consider yourself f...
