Tristin Hopper: All the Fake News fit to Print

Not wanting to miss the 'Trump is a Nazi' bandwagon, National Post 'journalist' Tristin Hopper penned a column suggesting a Canadian conservative of Iranian birth was now banned from the U.S. That is, in a word, a lie. Kaz Nejatian, the Iranian born Canadian in question, is not a dual citizen and travels on a valid Canadian passport, mainly to the Bay area where his tech business is based. So there are no restrictions on his travel. Just as there are no restrictions on former Israeli Minister of Defence, Shaul Mofaz, who happened to be born in Tehran in 1948, but has been an Israeli citizen his entire adult life, there are no travel restrictions on Israelis, but that didn't stop Hopper from claiming there were (hey, why let truth get in the way, right?) Hopper is of course the journalist who defamed me on Twitter a few weeks ago, so I'm already familiar with his complete (and actionable) dishonesty. However, many National Post readers, thinking that pu...

Fake News Sites

There has of late been great media consternation about the proliferation of fake news sites that mislead voters and generally misinform. There is a growing movement within the MSM, college campuses and even at the White House to have these types of news sites banned. Well, as a free speech absolutist I'm not in favour of restricting anyone's right to publish misleading and even downright false information (as long as it's not slandering an individual). However, as a public service, since there is so much concern over 'news' sites like these, I've compiled a list of some of the most egregious fake news sites online. They range from sites that bend stories to fit a certain narrative to others who create elaborate fake stories, or feature opinion writers writing columns that many of today's university students would consider hate speech (such as the Guardian's Julie Bindel advocating putting all men in concentration camps). At any rate consider yourself f...

Swastikas and other SJW Hoaxes

The post Trump election fad among the whining class is to fake hate crimes through the use of Nazi imagery and KKK/white supremacist slogans. I say fad, but in fact these fake hate crimes are crimes, vandalism and mischief as far as the criminal code goes, and a horrible crime against society. It's one thing to protest Trump's election, and another thing entirely to try create a narrative out of whole cloth that Trump's election has unleashed a wave of hate crimes (in Canada as well as the U.S). No sooner had Hillary conceded the election in the early hours of Nov 9th than would be SJWs were on social media saying Muslim women were scared of having their hijabs ripped off their heads based on absolutely nothing but their own fevered imaginations. Then lo and behold in the days following the election we suddenly heard story after of women having their hijabs ripped from their heads. Of course there were no witnesses to any of these crimes, and in more than one case it wa...

The Near Criminal Dishonesty of the Media

We're just two days away from the U.S presidential election and incredibly, Hillary Clinton, who is under not one, but two FBI investigations retains a close lead over Donald Trump. The media, that is the Main Stream Media (including Fox) still point fingers at Trump, saying he wants to imprison Hillary, and that somehow is beyond the pale. Actually what Trump said, in front of millions of viewers during the third debate, was that, when elected, he would appoint a special prosecutor to look into Hillary. Considering what we know already about the Clinton Foundation and pay for play, her mishandling of classified material, and the continued bombshells from Wikileaks that sounds entirely reasonable, to my mind anyway, but then I consider myself relatively sane. The MSM rail against FBI Director James Comey, but barely a peep is heard about why he is (supposedly) breaking protocol, in conducting a major investigation close to an election. Ask yourself this, if evidence of ...
