Banned from Minds.com

Well so much for Minds.com being a bastion of free speech, it turns out they are in fact complete frauds.
Supported by big libertarian Youtubers, Sargon of Akkad, Bearing and Computing Forever, to name just a few, it was supposed to be the answer to Facebook and Twitters growing censorship of anything non-feminist, non-SJW or non-pro Islam.

The site 'rewards' users for activity (quotes because the reward is debatable) and has billed itself as the Internet's most open and accepting social media platform. That is until you get banned from it.

I was very active on the site early this morning (Feb 24) but by late afternoon as unable to log back in. Apparently Minds.com, the most open and accepting social media platform on the Internet, has it's limits too.
Those limits would be videos critical of Islam, sigh, how predictable. So how do users like Atheism is Unstoppable continue to use the site? I suppose because he has a great deal of followers. Minds.com doesn't want to repeat Twitter's mistake and ban popular users who attract followers. But if you don't have a big following then apparently the same old authoritarian rules apply.

Minds.com in the end, is much more sinister than Facebook or Twitter, as they promote themselves as free and open. Atlas the aforementioned social media giants are upfront about their Orwellian impulses. Whereas Minds.com will use the likes of Sargon et.al to build their platform, while denying smaller users the same rights.

Sherlock Holmes becomes feminist whipping boy

Season four of the Benedict Cumberbatch series, Sherlock, premiered January 1 and if you haven't seen it yet, but are a fan of the show, prepare yourself for disappointment. After a two and half year hiatus, thinking the show, with Cumberbatch's film career taking off, would never return, I was pleasantly surprised to learn it was in fact coming back for a fourth season.
